How to start selling on Amazon?
Hi There, Today I am going to tell you that "How to start selling on Amazon India". Its very easy to sell your products online. So without wasting time let's start....
To become a seller on Amazon India, visit Amazon India Seller Signup page and click on register now button to start the registration process. During the registration process, the Business Entity name, Address and number must be provided.
It is highly recommended that selling on any online ecommerce portal be done through a Limited Liability Partnership or Private Limited Company or One Person Company, as these entities are easy to start and provide limited liability protection. While selling online through ecommerce portals, the promoter of a business could be open to litigation or liability from customers/vendors due to a number of issues and therefore important to have limited liability protection. If you are selling through a registered business entity (LLP or Company) then enter the entity name here, else enter the the of the Proprietor.
Address and Phone Number
Provide the registered office address or address of the place of business in the place provided. The phone number provided can be a mobile number as SMS or Voice Call verification would be required.
Once the above information is furnished to Amazon Partner Quiz is completed, you can begin selling on Amazon India. Detailed information relating to listing of products and management of listings is available through Amazon India Seller dashboard.

VAT or CST Registration Information
Only for sellers selling books and other products not covered under VAT, VAT Registration is not required. For all other sellers selling any product for which VAT is applicable must furnish VAT and CST number to start selling on Amazon India.Bank Account Information
The following information pertaining to bank account of the business must be furinished to Amazon India to complete the Amazon India, Partner registration process.- Account Holder Name
- Bank IFSC Code
- Bank Account Number
- Account Type
